Domain WHOIS lookup
Enter a domain and see who registered it, when it expires and where it's hosted — registrar, status flags, key dates and nameservers, pulled live from the registry via RDAP (the modern, structured successor to classic WHOIS).
How to read the result
- Status flags — codes like
clientTransferProhibitedare normal locks that protect the domain from unauthorized transfers.pendingDeleteorredemptionPeriodmean it's expiring or already lapsed. - Expiration date — how long the registration is paid through. A date in the past usually means the domain is dropping.
- Nameservers — who answers DNS for the domain. If these don't match where you think your DNS is hosted, that's worth investigating.
- Not found / unsupported TLD — RDAP covers all gTLDs (.com, .net, .org, .io…) but not every country-code TLD. A graceful "no RDAP" doesn't mean the domain is free.
The domain checks out — but does it actually load for you?
WHOIS tells you who owns a name, not whether your machine and network can reach it. Acutis Go runs the full check — network, DNS and your own machine — in 60 seconds. Free.
