The endpoint agent for Acutis

Is it the network, or your machine?

Acutis Go is a 7 MB agent that answers that question on every laptop, every 60 seconds. It watches the path, the Wi-Fi, the drivers, the certs — then tells you, in plain English, where the problem actually is. Free. Observe-only. One line to install.

The end of the worst support call

Never ask "what's your IP address?" again.

The hardest part of remote support is getting a non-technical person to read you their IP — and god forbid, their MAC address. Acutis Go ends that. Every machine has one short support code. Six characters. That's the whole conversation.

Without the agent

"Open Command Prompt." … "What's a Command Prompt?"

"Type ipconfig — no, i-p-c-o-n-f-i-g."

"Now read me the Physical Address." … "The what?"

"Is that a zero or an O?"

15 minutes in, still no idea what's wrong.

With Acutis Go

7K2-9QF

The user reads you six characters. You instantly see their machine, their network path, their Wi-Fi signal, their driver health — and a verdict that already says whether it's the network or the laptop. The call is over before it started.

How it works

Install once. It answers forever.

01 — Install

One line, no hardware

A 7 MB signed binary. Runs as a normal user or a service. Enrolls itself with a one-time code and disappears into the background.

02 — It watches

Every 60 seconds

Gateway & DNS latency, Wi-Fi signal, 802.1x auth, cert expiry, and machine health — drivers, disk, NIC, hardware errors. Observe-only. It never touches a setting.

03 — You get the verdict

Network or machine?

A plain-English answer with a confidence score, on your dashboard. No more guessing whether to blame the ISP, the Wi-Fi, or the laptop.

The verdict engine

Documented rules separate "the path is down" from "this machine is sick" — and won't cry wolf when a gateway just filters ping.

Machine health

Reads Windows event logs for driver loads, disk errors, NIC resets and dying hardware — the stuff that looks like a network problem but isn't.

🔒

Auth & certs

Catches 802.1x failures and certificates about to expire, so the help desk hears about it before the user does.

📶

Wi-Fi & throughput

Signal strength, the gateway path, and an opt-in LAN throughput probe — wired vs. wireless, told apart automatically.

One codebase, everywhere your people are

Runs on the machines you actually have.

A single Go agent, compiled native for each platform — no runtime, no dependencies, no agent sprawl.

The agent can never be the problem

Safe by construction — not by promise.

An agent on every laptop is only an asset if it can never become a liability. Acutis Go is built so a hung service, a bad update, or a hostile actor still can't hurt the machine it runs on.

Observe-only. It diagnoses. There is no code path that configures, changes, or logs into anything — on the machine or the network.
Outbound-only. It opens nothing to listen on. It speaks out over HTTPS to your backend and nothing speaks back in.
No remote execution. The backend can request a re-diagnose or a throughput test — from a fixed whitelist. Anything else is refused, never interpreted.
Holds no credentials. A roaming laptop is not a trusted credential holder, so the agent never carries device passwords or keys.
Signed & SHA-gated updates. Auto-updates are hash-verified before they ever run. A tampered build simply doesn't install.
No admin to run. Telemetry is read with normal user rights. It can't, and doesn't, demand the keys to the machine.
Why the agent wins

The agent is the wedge. The network is the payoff.

Acutis Go is free and spreads laptop-to-laptop with zero hardware to ship. It grows faster than any appliance ever could — and every fleet of agents that quietly agrees "it's the network, not the machines" is a data-backed reason to roll out the iron behind it: collectors, switches, firewalls, access points.
